Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Rumble Built, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for access to the InMyCity™ website, applications, and APIs (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes the organization.

The Service

InMyCity provides civic intelligence — aggregated public-safety, civic-activity, and related place-level metrics — for research, journalism, personal place decisions, and product integrations. The Service includes Explore, Story Mode, agents, forecasts, Copilot, REST APIs, and MCP servers as described on our site and documentation.

Civic records are sourced from public agencies and third-party open-data publishers. We normalize, reconcile, and derive scores under our published Methodology. We do not guarantee completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of underlying agency data.

Accounts & eligibility

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for securing API keys.
  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security or legal risk.

Subscriptions & billing

  • Paid plans, free trials, and renewals are processed through Stripe according to the plan selected at checkout.
  • Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through your billing portal.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in writing.
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply on your next renewal unless you cancel.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful discrimination, stalking, individual surveillance, or automated harm.
  • Attempt to re-identify individuals from aggregate civic records or bypass privacy floors.
  • Scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by our API documentation and your tier.
  • Misrepresent data lineage, attribution, or InMyCity as an official government product.
  • Resell raw API access outside your entitled tier or share API keys with unauthorized parties.

Oracle API and MCP users must also comply with our Oracle Acceptable Use policy, including required attestation headers.

Intellectual property

The Service, including software, visual design, models, documentation, and the InMyCity name and marks, is owned by Rumble Built, Inc. or its licensors. Civic source data remains subject to the terms of originating agencies and open-data licenses.

Subject to these Terms and your tier, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes. API responses must retain attribution and lineage fields where provided.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

InMyCity is not legal, financial, insurance, lending, or home-buying advice. Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for decisions with legal or economic consequences. Consult qualified professionals and primary sources where required.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RUMBLE BUILT, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Rumble Built, Inc. against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights through your content or integrations.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel subscriptions through your billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, or operational necessity. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) survive termination.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
